You can find some scruffian stooping at your place of work if you work in a supernaturally themed business. This includes SAI or OOPARTS, but isn't limited to that. He can also be found in the DA or local library, pouring over newspaper articles and history books.

He seems like he's trying to make conversation, but is waaaaay too awkward to know how to approach something.

What exactly happened with you?

"Alright, I was hanging out with people and got pulled into some sorta blank void. Told to kill my alternate here and solidify my 'realness' or something. I didn't and I think I'm plenty real still. Just... stuck.

They were pretty understanding of it and I got to enroll here, but it's... y'know, not home.

What about you?"

Hnmm... well, mine's more uncertain, cause at least you know you used to be somewhere...

In my case, it's that I remember where I used to live-- or, I remember, but it's not lining up with reality. The spot exists? But... there's no one there. I don't know where my family is, and it feels like wherever they are, it's not here, in this world. The phone number and address in the school's system leads nowhere.

I think one of the weirder reality-altering-sorta people said I might not be from this world, but I dunno where it is I am from.

He hrms, folding his arms. ... not gonna tell her it may have burnt out of existence, no one wants to hear that.

"Well, yeah. I can see where we're real similar, but..." His expression softens.

"I'm so sorry. I ran into some reality bending people like that, but it seems like mine's a much clearer case. But I heard someone I've run into a few times has an idea of worlds and timelines and whatever else applies to us. I'm gonna hunt her down soon. Want to come with me?"

"That's real weird. I've heard of people 'merging' with their alternates and creating a new person? But I dunno if that would cause something like this to happen. It's the only other thing I've heard about my particular situation, which I dunno applies to ya or not.

Her name's Wakahisa Ashley and I've beat her with a rolled up magazine like a bad dog before. So this should be easy."

I think I kinda went into shock a bit when I found out my home didn't exist, and everything. After graduating.

... Well, I remember having a home... I remember having a mom and dad... But when I try to think of the "details" of things, that's where it all starts to get fuzzy and painful?

Like I have a wall that's in front of that stuff, but that wall is also covered in spikes and fire when I try to touch it.

Something's blocking off your home or it got jettisoned from reality? Especially if the details are fuzzy like that."

He rubs his face more, thinking.

"Like, it got eaten in some event and you're not supposed to remember something that doesn't exist anymore? Or you're from another dimension and it's blocked off somehow?"

Hnmm... I don't want to think it got "eaten", but maybe it's the other thing? I mean, you remember your own home, right?

"Yeah, in pretty clear detail. Even remember my childhood pretty well, so it's definitely not at least the same ominous voice situation, maybe something similar though. And if something's blocking it off and kinda screwing with your memories and stuff...

We just gotta find that something and smash through it!"

"... I dunno, honestly. Maybe the 'transfer' from your dimension to here was rough? I ain't an expert on this kinda stuff.
