He seems like he's trying to make conversation, but is waaaaay too awkward to know how to approach something.

I was hanging out with her, when her clone appeared and tried to kill her.

But since I got tired of the whole thing after a whole bunch of very ridiculous back and forth, I had Sanae transport them to a deserted island to sort things out.

Next thing I heard, they had fused together after fighting each other, somehow.

He taps on his chin, thinking.

"What the hell does all of it even mean?"

Well, it probably means that if you fought your older version of yourself who's Trena's actual dad, you'd have probably fused together and there'd be an unholy mess of a person walking around.

I don't like that idea at all."

Yeah, just saying it and imagining it is terrifying me right now.

But I also feel like the other Tsurugi felt like she couldn't go back to where she was from or something...?

... Hrm. I know the feeling, but I'm still holding out hope, even if it feels kinda... in vain at this point. But even then, attacking someone like that..."

he sighs, resting his head on the table before sitting back up.

"I'll figure something out. Maybe... Maybe warn people to have their friends deal with clones or something? I can't, but someone's gotta be able to stabilize the unstable ones, right? And then people can go forward."

"I think so. If I can do it solo, who knows what someone with actual ideas of how this stuff works can do.

I mean, what're the other options? Let two people merge into one? Let someone think they're going crazy and reality might eat them?"

"We just gotta make them the lame options no one wants to pick!

Or... I dunno, man. I just don't want people getting hurt or fading away is all."
