He seems like he's trying to make conversation, but is waaaaay too awkward to know how to approach something.

"Oh jeez, I forgot to introduce myself! Briar, Cassius. But you can just call me Cas."

Uh... sure, "Cas". *yeah that's a name I have heard before... but not in that form...*

You think you're from a parallel universe, then? Where Noriko's your classmate and I'm a middle-schooler or something?

"Yeah. I go to school with the people who're teachers in this dimension and some of the students here are teachers there.

This place is REAL messed up because of it."

Okay, just making sure, since being through the experience myself, I'd feel bad if a middle-school aged version of me went through that, too.

But kid, this isn't really a research place. This is a volunteer organization with a focus on helping folks from the other 12 Dimensions adjust to here and accommodate them, with a mixture in focus on Psychic Duelists.

I dunno if we'd have the materials for you to just "pretend" to read.

Hey, this isn't a hideout. We're a very open and obvious non-profit organization that I joined only because I like the owner of this place well enough.

And gave me something to do after I was forced to relive my teenage years for highschool.
